Potty Training

Ethan had been showing signs of potty training readiness for a few weeks now, so Mommy decided to give it a try! After three crazy days Ethan has been doing amazing (even overnight!) We are so proud of him and Mommy is so happy to now only be changing one set of diapers!

Ethan 23 Months & Brandon 5 Months

We had our family photos taken with a local photographer in downtown Claremont the day after Thanksgiving.  We had a great time and we were so happy the boys cooperated!

Brandon's 5 Months

Time is just flying by!  Our little Brandon is already 5 months old!  He's weighing in at 17 pounds 14 oz. and he's 27 inches already.  Pretty soon he will have caught up with his big brother!  He is now rolling over and playing with Ethan who loves to bring him toys.

What do you mean Santa's watching?

The Pilgrim Festival

Every year we head to the Pilgrim festival to support Pilgrim Place.  This year was no exception and we were thrilled Daddy was able to spend a few house with us in the morning there.  We love to walk around and shop for crafts, ride the Mayflower and of course the train.

Homeade Playdough

Mommy was feeling ambitious the other day and decided today was the day Ethan was going to try playdough.  She started to measure out the ingredients and discovered we had no table salt.  Luckily our whole family loves soft pretzels so we had to do a little substituting with pretzel salt.  The dough turned out great and Ethan had fun.  Ginger on the other hand, just thought it tasted good...

Choo Choo

Ethan has fallen in love with trains, he loves to look at them, read books about them, watch shows about them and to ride on them.  After dinner at Victoria Gardens Ethan saw the train going by and started running around squealing in delight.  Of course he had to take a ride and was thrilled when the conductor let him and Daddy sit upfront for a few photos.  Brandon and Mommy were standinh by taking pictures.

Ethan's First Set of Stitches

Poor little Ethan was being his fun little self running through our room Sunday morning, tripped and hit his head on the corner of Mommy's steel framed pilates reformer :(  Thank goodness Daddy was home to help!  By the time we load up the car his head had stopped bleeding and he was acting totally normal.  We drove to the ER where Bops and GG met us to take Brandon.  Ethan was such a trooper!  We waited three hours at the ER where Ethan received 1 internal stitch and 10 external stitches since the cut went to the bone.  He actually wasn't given any drugs during the process and we were amazed when he feel asleep while being stitched up.

Bops Birthday

This year Mommy took the boys to the Sawdust Factory to make Bops birthday present.  Ethan helped paint his new tool box which says Bop's Little Helpers and has cutouts of the boys hands on it.  We had lots of fun and can't wait to go back soon!
