Nana and Don Don's visit

We had such a great time when Nana and Don Don came to visit.  They were such a big help while they were here! They were also able to spend lots of time with Ethan playing outside and time snuggling Baby Brandon.

Brandon - One Month

Brandon has been such a wonderful little one!  He is a good sleeper and has a healthy appetite.  We can't believe how fast one month has past!  Nana and Don Don were here to celebrate the one month mark and to help Mommy and keep Big Brother Ethan company!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a wonderful 4th of July!  Daddy got to drive a John Deere in the Claremont parade and Ethan, GG, Bops, Taya and Ella were able to ride in the back.  Auntie Willa, Mommy and Brandon we're able to find a nice spot in the shade and watch from the sidelines!  And to top it off we were able to celebrate GG's Birthday!

 

Family Photo Session

We have been enjoying Daddy being home these past two weeks and it sure helps to have an extra set of hands!  Today we celebrated Brandon's 7th day of life as well as celebrating Ethan's 18th month!  We are so blessed to have two wonderful boys!

  

Father's Day

This year we played it pretty low key.  GG, Bops, Auntie Willa, Auntie Kristin, Cousin Kyle, Taya and Ella came over Monday night for dinner.  It was a beautiful night and spent most of the evening enjoying the backyard. 
Thank you Brian/Daddy for being such an amazing husband and an even more incredible Daddy to our amazing boys!  We love you so very much!

Brandon's First Bath

Brandon was not very happy with his first bath, but what baby is.  As soon as he was wrapped back up he was his happy self again.

Big Brother

Ethan has been a great big brother!  As soon as we got home, Mommy sat on the floor with Brandon and Ethan came right over and hugged him.  Ethan is intrigued with every noise Brandon makes and as soon as he wakes up he goes looking for him.  When Brandon is napping or being changed in the pack-and-play Ethan wants to see what Brandon's doing and climbs on top Ginger's bed to get a peek; even patting him when he starts to cry.

Announcing Brandon Joseph Groene

Brandon Joseph was born June 15, 2011 at 8:05 am; weighing in at 7 lb. 15oz and 20 inches in length.  The delivery was quick and painless (c-section).  Mommy is recovering well and we came home on the 17th.  Big brother Ethan is adjusting well and loves to give Brandon hugs!

Almost a Big Brother!

Ethan thinks he's ready to be a big brother.  He has been very helpful around the house, helping Mommy clean up and picking up and putting away his toys.  Though his favorite is helping in the back yard with watering and taking care of the garden.  We know Ethan will be in for some big changes in just under two days, but we know he's going to do great!
