Brian and I are loving life! We welcomed our first child, Ethan Wayne Groene on December 22, 2009. We are now happy to announce that Brandon Joseph was born on June 15, 2011! Parenthood, though it has it's occasional challenges, is absolutely incredible. Everyday we love getting to watch as these little miracles, our sons, grow and learn something new. God is AMAZING!
Happy Halloween!
We had a wonderful time celebrating Halloween! We let Ethan pick out his own outfit this year and he was even able to wear it on four different occasions. Last night we went to GG and Bops house for dinner then out for trick or treating with the cousins. Ethan really enjoyed the whole process of tromping up to someones home, ringing the door bell, attempting to say trick or treat, setting his bucket down then carefully picking out two or three pieces of candy. Brandon on the other hand was really uninterested, but enjoyed how warm and snugglie the ketchup packet was. Mommy especially enjoyed the pumpkins this year and grew 8 of them in her garden. Besides the two small ones she carved she's used the others to make pumpkin butter and pumpkin puree for pumpkin pie :)

The Boys Prayer Book
Every night we pray with the boys. Since half our family lives so far away we want to make sure the boys see eveyone everyday.
Four Months
Brandon is now four months and weighs 16 lb. 4 oz! We love to see his little personality shining thru. He loves his swing; thank goodness, and his big brother who loved to make him laugh.
Cal Poly Pumpkin Festival
Saturday we had time to head over to the pumpkin festival with the boys and their wagon. We had fun taking pictures and chasing Ethan.
Library
Mommy took the boys to the Claremont library this week. Ethan really enjoyed looking at books and was excited to know a few would be going home with us. Mommy was also super impressed when Ethan walked a whole mile on his own! (It was to get ice cream.)
Three Months
Three months have gone so quick with little Brandon; he now weighs 14 lbs 12 oz. He is such a happy little one!
