Both boys went through spells of not feeling so hot. Ethan even became so familiar with the temporal thermometer he started trying to take his temperature himself.
Brian and I are loving life! We welcomed our first child, Ethan Wayne Groene on December 22, 2009. We are now happy to announce that Brandon Joseph was born on June 15, 2011! Parenthood, though it has it's occasional challenges, is absolutely incredible. Everyday we love getting to watch as these little miracles, our sons, grow and learn something new. God is AMAZING!
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree
Cousins
We went to the park with Cousin Kyle, Taya and Ella for a photo shoot for GG and Bops Christmas present. It was a beautiful day as were our children.
Visit with Santa
We took the boys to talk to Santa this year. Luckily both boys were cooperative though we didn't get big smiles out of either of them. They must have been good little boys this year as they received wonderful gifts from the big guy!
Brandon's First Food
Brandon had his first taste of oatmeal cereal today. He was somewhat confused by the different texture and taste, but still gave it a try.
Potty Training
Ethan 23 Months & Brandon 5 Months
We had our family photos taken with a local photographer in downtown Claremont the day after Thanksgiving. We had a great time and we were so happy the boys cooperated!
Brandon's 5 Months
Time is just flying by! Our little Brandon is already 5 months old! He's weighing in at 17 pounds 14 oz. and he's 27 inches already. Pretty soon he will have caught up with his big brother! He is now rolling over and playing with Ethan who loves to bring him toys.
What do you mean Santa's watching?
The Pilgrim Festival
Every year we head to the Pilgrim festival to support Pilgrim Place. This year was no exception and we were thrilled Daddy was able to spend a few house with us in the morning there. We love to walk around and shop for crafts, ride the Mayflower and of course the train.
Homeade Playdough
Mommy was feeling ambitious the other day and decided today was the day Ethan was going to try playdough. She started to measure out the ingredients and discovered we had no table salt. Luckily our whole family loves soft pretzels so we had to do a little substituting with pretzel salt. The dough turned out great and Ethan had fun. Ginger on the other hand, just thought it tasted good...
